We can help with a wide range of problems
What does the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) say?
NICE provides guidance and advice to improve health and social care in the UK. NICE recognises osteopathy as a form of manual therapy that may be used to alleviate the following conditions:
Low back pain: NICE recommends exercise and manual therapy, such as spinal manipulation, mobilization, and massage, as the first-line treatment for people with low back pain.
Osteoarthritis: NICE suggests that osteopathy and other manual therapies may provide short-term relief of pain and improved function in people with osteoarthritis.
Shoulder pain: NICE recommends manual therapy, including osteopathy, as a treatment option for people with shoulder pain.
Tension-type headache: NICE suggests that manual therapies, including osteopathy, may provide short-term relief for people with tension-type headaches.
