Appointments and fees
Initial consult & treatment
£85 (45mins)
For all new patients, patients with a new condition, or patients not seen at the clinic for over 18 months.
We will gather a detailed medical history related to your current problem. We will also ask about your general health any relevant medical conditions and about how you use your body at work and during your free time.
We will ask you to perform certain movements and observe the way you move. We will use our hands to feel the muscles and joints around the affected area, and may perform orthopaedic or neurological tests to assess the function of specific structures such as muscles, ligaments, joints, and nerves. We may also perform tests that assess more complex systems like gait, balance, and muscle chains. You may need to remove some clothing for this part of the exam.
We will explain our findings and our diagnosis. If treatment is appropriate, we will form a treatment plan together and provide an idea of how long and how many treatments you might need to improve your condition.
Treatment usually begins in this session and may involve a combination of techniques such as massage, muscle stretching, joint mobilisations, and joint manipulations as appropriate. We may also recommend exercises or changes to your lifestyle and body use to prevent the problem from recurring.
Repeat treatment:
Standard £58 (30 mins)
Extended £87 (45mins)
For patients already being treated for the same condition and who received treatment within the last 18 months.
We will review symptoms and examination findings, and continue treatment as appropriate.
We will continue your treatment plan using appropriate massage, muscle stretching, joint mobilisations, and joint manipulation. We may also suggest more exercises, or changes to lifestyle and body use to prevent the problem recurring.
